Ce Ce Rogers hakkında bilmeniz gereken 5 önemli şey ;

1-Ce Ce Rogers dünyanın en ünlü house vokalistlerinden birisi Amerikalı asıl adı Kenneth Jesse Rogers III. 30 Nisan 1962 doğumlu. Ce Ce adı 11 yaşında iken kendisini izleyen James Brown tarafından verildi. Mood Life adı ile de kayıt yapıyor.

2-Ce Ce Rogers’ın Marshall Jefferson ile çok uzun süredir arkadaşlıkları var.1987 senesinde yaptıkları Someday bir dans klasiği sayılıyor. Mixmag tarafından ‘’En büyük 100 parça’’ sıralamasında en çok oylardan birini alarak 3 numarada çıkmıştı.Parça 10 milyonun üzerinde satış yaptı. Parçanın başarısı üzerine hemen Atlantic ile anlaşma imzalar ilk albümü Ce Ce Rogers 1989 senesinde piyasaya sürülür.İkinci albümü Never Give Up 1991 senesinde piyasaya sürülür.Son albümü ‘’By Faith’’ bu sene Ocak ayında piyasaya çıkar.İlk iki albümü R&B, Soul,House müzik ihtiva ederken son albümü tamamen dans müziğine yöneliktir.

3-Müzik öğretmeni annesi kendisini küçük yaşta gospel ile tanıştırır.Ce Ce Rogers diğer elektronik müzik sanatçılarını aksine aldığı ses ve piyano eğitimi sayesinde R&B,Gospel ,Jazz icra edebiliyor.

4-Aretha Franklin,Duran Duran,Janet Jackson,Frankie Knuckles, Luther Vandross,Sound of Blackness gibi isimlere çalışan Ce Ce Rogers’ın en büyük parçaları arasında Jestofunk ile yaptığı ‘’Can We Live’’,’’Happy’’ kendi çıkardığı ‘’All Join Hands’’,’’Brothers and Sisters ‘’,’’Forever’’,’’No Love Lost’’ ve ‘’Someday’’ sayılabilir.

Şu ara oldukça telaşlı bir programım var.Sabahları randevular ,konferans toplantılar vs. ile dolu. Akşamüstleri ise stüdyoda müzik yaparak geçiriyorum. Haftasonları ise dünyanın birçok yerine gidip şarkı söylüyorum.

At the moment, a hectic schedule. Mornings are filled with appointments, conference calls, etc. And the afternoon is spent in the studio producing. Then the weekends I’m off to different parts of the world performing.

What is next for Ce Ce Rogers, plans ?

Currently working on a documentary centered around my music and the combination of Gospel, House, Hip Hop and Soul.
